Loved Dan from moment I laid eyes on him via zoom! He spent an hour with me — basically I was yelling out songs and he would start to play them. I wanted all Coldplay tunes for my wedding ceremony. He played me different versions of the songs I wanted – did I want more rock more Romantic more elegant. He travelled over an hour with his piano and got to the event early enough to set up and jumped right in. Everyone commented on the music. Even the people who joined us remotely. It was my favorite part of the ceremony I wanted so badly to bring him to dinner afterwards but the restaurant wouldn’t allow it. I can’t wait to have him at another event where people can request any song they want and hear it come to life Dan is the music man ! Thanks so much !
I recently hired Dan Fogel as a pianist for a private party at my house. He is a professional, talented pianist with a warm and engaging personality. Dan kept the party going with an extensive repertoire of interesting selections from different genres as well as eras, and our guests loved hearing their favorites. He is completely professional and exceeded our expectations. I look forward to hiring Dan again for future events.
Dan played the cocktail “hour and a half” BEAUTIFULLY at our Manhattan Upper East Side wedding in a Gilded Age Banquet Hall. Right off the bat, he gave us very clear options for genres which helped us create the “vibes” we wanted. On top of that, he followed perfectly a couple of specific requests (first/last songs, specific renditions of some) that started a subtle party-like atmosphere right off of the bat, and made guests ready for our dance floor. We would highly recommend Dan based on his beautiful artistry, but also for his organization and professionalism. The details he added to our day will be some we will carry with us as our favorite memories from our wedding!

We just used Dan Fogel for my daughter’s Rehearsal Dinner at The Swan Club in Roslyn 7/22/2022. He was amazing! From the day we booked him, he was on top of everything to make sure that my daughter had all the music that she wanted. He is super talented and an all around great performer! I would highly recommend him! Dan Fogel was awesome.
Dan Fogel is an excellent, versatile pianist. He can play all types of musical genres, to your liking. We had an outdoor party for my husband’s 70th birthday, and he played wonderful background music, answering to a broad variety of people’s requests. As the party livened, he accompanied a singer, while also transposing to various keys to adjust to the vocal range. He also skillfully adapted his music to the changing atmosphere during the party. We enjoyed his music so much, that we kept extending his stay, and he willingly accommodated to satisfy our wishes. We loved having him there!
Dan played the perfect mix of music for our wedding in December 2015. We had him perform before the ceremony when the guests arrived and for our cocktail hour. Our affair was black tie, and Dan looked the part. We wanted a mix of classical music with more modern songs in a classic style and even a few video game songs performed classically (like some Zelda music). Everything we asked of Dan was performed to perfection. To this day, one of the most mentioned parts of our wedding is Dan’s piano. He helped transform our cocktail hour into an even more sophisticated, yet fun environment, which was exactly what we asked of him. I am sure he would be capable of performing at any leveland with any set of asks. His flexibility in repertoire with his musical ability is outstanding.
I found Dan on online and requested info to play at our wedding ceremony. He answered almost immediately and we spoke on the phone about an hour later. He was extremely friendly and accommodating, asking what sort of music we were looking for and specific songs. He showed up to the ceremony early to set his equipment up and his music was beautiful. I have zero complaints and would absolutely hire him again in a heartbeat. Thank you again, Dan!
